FLY OVER STATE is a post-dance-punk fueled alternative/indie band rocking the famous Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago since 2009. Equal parts Blondie and Blonde Redhead, the songwriting team of Jess and Jim have been leading the band to a disco-rock sound that now crystallizes as the debut album Fly Over State. Establishing a strong musical identity through performances at Chicago venues, such as the Metro and the Double Door, and through an appearance on Fearless Radio, Fly Over State released their self-titled debut in early 2012.
